TRINITY supports the introduction of advanced robotic systems in production processes and is part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme.
TRINITY’s main objective is to create a network of multidisciplinary and synergistic local digital innovation hubs (DIHs) composed of research centers, companies, and university groups that cover a wide range of topics that can contribute to agile production: advanced robotics as the driving force and digital tools, data privacy and cyber security technologies to support the introduction of advanced robotic systems in the production processes.
Small and Medium Enterprises or slightly bigger companies who are developing solutions to advance agile production, e.g. collaborative robotics including sensory systems to ensure safety, effective user interfaces based on augmented reality and speech, reconfigurable robot workcells and peripheral equipment (fixtures, jigs, grippers, …), programming by demonstration, IoT, secure wireless networks, and so on.
Information about open calls, deadlines and different types of vouchers are available at the project’s main web site – https://trinityrobotics.eu/
As part of the project, DigitalNorway assist Norwegian companies with their applications, and provide relevant information about important milestones for the project.
Breakfast seminar sparks great interest for EU projects
In January, DigitalNorway was invited by MESH to present the key objectives of three of our ongoing EU projects; DIGI-B-CUBE, InnoCAPE and TRINITY.
A glimpse into the future of robotics
Earlier this March, DigitalNorway was present at the 11th Annual European Robotics Forum to exchange experiences with and learn from other robotics communities in Europe.
Digital Innovation Hub
DigitalNorway is one of five fully operational Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in Norway. Our far-reaching network provides great opportunities for SMEs, and allows us stay on top of the latest trends and developments within digital innovation.
